Teacher-Assessors prepare, administer and assess each Medal.

On the day of the assessment Teacher-Assessors are responsible for:

In addition to performing the above tasks, a Teacher-Assessor may act as an accompanist in the candidate’s Solo. They may also contribute to the Ensemble section by taking a line in any of the trios and quartets, or by being a duet partner at Copper and Bronze levels. This kind of teacher support will often give a real confidence boost to pupils.
