Is there a minimum age for Teacher-Assessors?

Yes. Teacher-Assessors must be aged 18 or over.

Which instruments can be assessed?

Assessments are available for the following instruments:

  • Strings: violin, viola, cello, double bass and guitar
  • Woodwind: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, recorder and saxophone
  • Brass: trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, E flat horn, French horn, baritone, trombone, euphonium and E flat tuba
  • Electronic Keyboard

What is the National Qualifications Framework?

The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) is a government-sponsored means of organizing qualifications to show how they relate to each other.

What is QCA?

The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority maintains and develops the national curriculum and associated assessments, tests and examinations as well as accrediting qualifications. They also regulate awarding bodies and exams to ensure they are fit for purpose.

Please log on to the Entries and Results website and select My Profile from the menu at the top of the page. Select Amend Contact Details from the left hand menu and make the necessary changes. Select Update to save the changes.
