Music Medals Partners
Music Medals are operated in partnership with ABRSM by Music Medals Partners, i.e. group-teaching organizations that register to operate Music Medals on behalf of their staff and pupils, undertaking a series of activities and responsibilities as detailed below. Music Medals Partners are usually Music Services (Instrumental Teaching Services) or schools but non-Music Service organizations which provide a range of group-teaching services may also be eligible, at ABRSM’s discretion.
As a Music Medals Partner, a school or Music Service undertakes to:
- sign a Partnership agreement with the Associated Board
- oversee the training of teachers wishing to operate Music Medals as Teacher-Assessors
- notify the Board of trained Teacher-Assessors on an ongoing basis
- provide the Board with details of Music Medals Co-ordinators
