Music Medals teacher training

Thank you for your interest in Music Medals. To help you and your pupils get the most out of Music Medals materials and assessments, we provide a range of free training options for all new Teacher-Assessors.

What does Music Medals training cover?

Our training sessions equip you with the knowledge and skills that you’ll need to integrate Music Medals into your day-to-day teaching and to confidently and easily conduct Music Medals assessments with your pupils.

Suitable for teachers of all instruments and levels, our training begins with an overview of what Music Medals are and how they’re designed to offer flexibility and support to you and fun and motivation to your pupils. You’ll explore a range of Music Medals repertoire and teaching resources and watch a series of Music Medals assessments in action. We’ll then take you on a step by step guide to making an entry, conducting and assessing a Music Medal.
