Downloading Options Tests FAQs

How far in advance of the assessments should I download the Option tests?

Downloading the Option tests opens an 8-week window during which the assessment must take place.

I have downloaded the Option tests but can’t find them on my computer. What should I do?

First, check if you have a pop-up blocker installed on your computer. If you have, you should disable it otherwise it will prevent you viewing the Option tests. You can try to do the download again by clicking on Entry > Active Entries > Download Options. Click on the Submission Number link to view the list of candidates, tick the box in the Select column for the relevant candidate(s) then click Re-Release. You can then download the Options again or you can opt to have them emailed to you.

My printer failed when I was printing off the Option tests. What should I do?

You can try to do the download again by clicking on Entry > Active Entries > Download Options. Click on the Submission Number link to view the list of candidates, tick the box in the Select column for the relevant candidate(s) then click Re-Release. You can then download the Options again or you can opt to have them emailed to you.

I printed the Option tests but there are errors on the page/parts of the image are missing. What should I do?

You need to use Print as Image. This is a check box which will appear on the print page in versions 5 and 6 of Adobe Acrobat and in the Advanced menu in version 7.
