What happens to my results once I have sent them to the Associated Board?

The information from the report form(s) is checked and transferred to our computer system. The moderation protocol is then used to decide whether any of the results are to be reviewed by a moderator. Once this has been completed, certificates and commentaries are printed and despatched with the medals.

Can I see what changes the moderator has made?

Yes. Log on to the Entries and Results website and choose Moderated Results from the menu at the top of the page.

What should I do if I am not happy with the changes made by the moderator?

Firstly, check that your assessments complied with the regulations:

  • All three sections must achieve Excellent for an overall Excellent to be awarded (Bronze to Platinum levels only)

If you wish to appeal against the moderator’s decision, your Music Medals Partner must write to the Associated Board within 14 days of the release of the result. A fee will normally be payable and this will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
