2. Training to become a Teacher-Assessor
Once a school or Music Service has registered with the Associated Board as a Music Medals Partner, teachers affiliated to the institution can train to become Teacher-Assessors. Upon completion of the online training, teachers will be able to prepare, administer and assess each Music Medal.
There are six simple steps to follow in order to become a Teacher-Assessor:
- If you have not already done so, ask your school or Music Service to register as a Music Medals Partner
- Download a Teacher-Assessor (TA) registration form
- Complete and sign the form
- Ask the head teacher of your school or representative of your Music Service to countersign the form
- Return the form to the Music Medals Office
- Once you have received confirmation of your registration, you will be able to train online using the supplied username and password
