Who can take Music Medals?

Music Medals assessments are available to candidates through UK schools and Music Services who have opted to become Music Medals Partners.Music Medal Trumpets

Anyone learning a musical instrument at school can take a Music Medal -- as long as their school or Music Service has registered as a Partner!

Music Medals are designed to be as flexible and inclusive as possible with minimum barriers to entry and availability across all instruments commonly taught in schools. Which instruments are available?

How can my school or Music Service become involved in Music Medals?

  1. In order to operate Music Medals, your school or Music Service must first register with the Associated Board as a Music Medals Partner
  2. Once a school or Music Service has been registered, its teachers are eligible to train as Teacher-Assessors, responsible for the assessment of Music Medals candidates
  3. Registered Teacher-Assessors who have completed the training programme are entitled to enter candidates for Music Medals!

I am not affiliated to a school or Music Service. Can my pupils take Music Medals?

We hope that the scope of Music Medals will soon be expanded to include independent teachers.
