5  Music Medals Co-ordinators

a. Music Medals Co-ordinators must be aged 18 or over.

b. A Music Medals Partner may register a Music Medals Co-ordinator or Co-ordinators to undertake elements of Music Medals administration, including submitting entries, making payment, downloading confidential assessment materials and receiving results. Music Medals Co-ordinators may act either on behalf of a Music Medals Partner or on behalf of an individual school participating in Music Medals in association with a Music Medals Partner.

c. Each Music Medals Co-ordinator must complete and sign a registration form, countersigned by the Head of Music Service or Head Teacher (or equivalent), providing personal details and formally confirming agreement to abide by ABRSM’s Music Medals Regulations.

d. Any responsible person – such as a member of Music Service administrative or financial staff, a school secretary or bursar – may be registered as a Music Medals Co-ordinator.

e. There is no limit to the number of Music Medals Co-ordinators that may be registered by a Music Medals Partner.

f. Regarding elements of Music Medals administration that may be undertaken by either a Teacher-Assessor or a Music Medals Co-ordinator, it is the responsibility of the parties concerned to establish between them who carries out which element(s). ABRSM will not arbitrate in such matters.

g. Following registration, each Music Medals Co-ordinator is assigned an applicant number. This, used in conjunction with a confidential password, allows access to the Music Medals entry system and to statistical information relating to the results of candidates entered by the organization that the Music Medals Co-ordinator represents. It is the responsibility of the Music Medals Co-ordinator to safeguard the confidentiality of the password.

h. Music Medals Co-ordinators agree to notify ABRSM of any changes in their registration details. This must be done via the Entries and Results section of this website.

i. ABRSM reserves the right to refuse or terminate registration of any individual as a Music Medals Co-ordinator.
