3  Training

a. By signing the Partnership Agreement, the Music Medals Partner undertakes to ensure that teachers undergo Teacher-Assessor training before operating Music Medals assessments. This training may be carried via the online scheme provided by ABRSM or by attending a training session conducted by an ABRSM representative or by a Trainer nominated by a Music Medals Partner.

b. A Music Medals Partner may nominate one or more Music Medals Trainers to assist with the support and training of Teacher-Assessors. Nominations are subject to ABRSM's approval. 

c. For each Trainer it wishes to nominate, the Music Medals Partner must submit a registration form, completed and signed by the nominee and countersigned by the Head of Music Service or Head Teacher (or equivalent), formally confirming agreement to abide by ABRSM’s Music Medals Regulations.

d. All necessary training material is provided by ABRSM.

e. Trainers must be experienced staff (e.g. instrumental faculty heads) currently involved in Music Medals as Teacher-Assessors.

f. Copyright in all materials provided by ABRSM for training purposes resides with ABRSM. Music Medals Partners/Teacher-Assessors/Trainers agree to respect this copyright and to refrain from duplicating any materials supplied by ABRSM.

g. ABRSM reserves the right to refuse or terminate registration of any individual as a Music Medals Trainer.
